This position is responsible for monitoring vehicle maintenance and repair, accuracy of fleet billing, documentation of accidents, insurance, registration and vehicle supplies. Conducts vehicle inspections, transports vehicles and performs or assists with other Fleet and Operational duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts vehicle inspections
  • Picks up vehicles or personnel from various facilities
  • Documents various transaction within fleet management and other software systems
  • Supplies vehicles with various supplies, GeoTabs, Toll Tags
  • Documents accidents and processes accident reporting thru the system
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • For insurability purposes, at least 25 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license (Class “B” license for Florida applicants only) and able to pass a pre-employment and regularly scheduled post-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) inquiries
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, computer skills and high degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in fleet coordinator role
  • Experience with Fleet Management Software (FMS)

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery
  • Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle
  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
