Purpose of the Position:
The Receptionist will serve as the Positive First Impression of Broadway Bank and must handle the daily responsibilities with efficiency and ease. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment; perform duties as required; exercise problem-solving skills within stated policy guidelines; work as part of the team and interact with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Creates a warm and welcoming front desk atmosphere
  • Manages the front area and serves as the first point of contact for all visiting customers and guests.
  • Serves the customer/guest by greeting, welcoming and directing as appropriate
  • Notifies Banker of customer/guest arrival
  • Answers, screens and redirects all incoming calls as needed
  • Complies with procedures, rules and regulations on keeping a safe and clean reception area.
  • Contributes to the team by accomplishing tasks assigned by Management

Competencies and Skills:

  • Must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures as they relate to customer service, NPS scores and including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to employees.
  • COORDINATES WITH: Main Financial Center Manager and staff to ensure customer service objectives are met for the department. On occasion will work with other Department Managers to direct guests to different areas within the Main Bank.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Customer service experience
  • 2 years knowledge of PC's including operating systems, word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Good organizational skills; aptitude for detail and follow-up; ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
